Trip to Fallingwater

OIS will take a group to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Fallingwater designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.  Tickets will be purchased from the William Pitt Union Ticket Office within a month of the event.  Tickets (which includes a guided tour and round trip bus ride) will be $30.  More details about our trip to follow.  Please visit the Fallingwater website for more information about the historic home.

EB-1b Permanent Residency Information Session

This session is a prerequisite to apply for employment-based permanent residency in the EB-1b Outstanding Professor or Research category with the University of Pittsburgh. Presenters will cover the main criteria for qualifying under this category and how to document your qualifications. Topics covered will be:

  • University and regulatory requirements for permanent residency sponsorship
  • Qualifying as an Outstanding Professor or Researcher
  • Evidentiary standards for the EB-1b
  • Next steps to pursue the EB-1b at Pitt
  • Minimal information will be provided on other employment-based green card options

This session is open to current University of Pittsburgh employees only.  Please make sure to review the information in My OIS related to Permanent Residency prior to the session (Departmental Services > Permanent Residency).
