Pitt2Pitt Virtual Recruiting Fair

Through the Pitt2Pitt program, graduating Pitt seniors and recent alumni from all campuses can apply to scholarships to nearly 60 master’s or certificate programs.

Attend the Pitt2Pitt Virtual Recruiting Fair on Wednesday, December 2 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. EST to learn more about the programs and get answers to your questions. During the Virtual Recruiting Fair, each of the 11 schools will host a 30-minute Zoom meeting that will repeat four times during the fair. You can join for just one 30-minute session or hear from up to four schools over two hours. Additionally, there will be a general session if you need help thinking about which program is a good fit for you or if you are just interested in finding out more.

RSVP required (registration forthcoming) to receive the Zoom password that will grant entry to all individual sessions. You can RSVP at any time (even during the event) to receive the password to join.

This session is a prerequisite to apply for employment-based permanent residency in the EB-1b Outstanding Professor or Research category with the University of Pittsburgh. Presenters will cover the main criteria for qualifying under this category and how to document your qualifications. Topics covered will be:

  • University and regulatory requirements for permanent residency sponsorship
  • Qualifying as an Outstanding Professor or Researcher
  • Evidentiary standards for the EB-1b
  • Next steps to pursue the EB-1b at Pitt
  • Minimal information will be provided on other employment-based green card options

This session is open to current University of Pittsburgh employees only.  Please make sure to review the information in My OIS related to Permanent Residency prior to the session (Departmental Services > Permanent Residency).
